Fr Stephen was born in Streatham, brought up in Sussex and spent the first 11 years of his
working life teaching in South London primary schools. He then went to Mirfield to train
for the priesthood, serving his curacy in Wandsworth before returning to Yorkshire where he has been Vicar in two parishes. |
Fr Stephen is married to Elaine, who is also a priest and who was licensed as Chaplain to University College, London on Sunday 27th February 2005.
Stephen & Elaine have six children who range in age from 19 to 28. The two youngest are at university and the others have flown the nest.
They also have two grandchildren with another on the way.
Fr Stephen was licensed to St.Lawrence Church, Eastcote on June 13th 2005. It was a wonderful service led by the Bishop of Willesden, Peter Broadbent, and the Revd. Olwen Field, the Area Dean.
