Father Stephen Dando was born in Streatham, brought up in Sussex and spent the first 11 years of his working life teaching in South London primary schools.
He then went to Mirfield to train for the priesthood, serving his curacy in Wandsworth before returning to Yorkshire where he was Vicar in two parishes. Father Stephen was licensed to St Lawrence Church on 13th June 2005 by the Bishop of Willesden, Peter Broadbent.
He is married to Elaine, who is also a priest; Elaine was licensed as Assistant Priest to Holy Trinity Church, Northwood, on 24th June 2008. They have six children and four grandchildren.
Father Stephen enjoys walking, gardening and photography and supports Brentford FC!
