Brownies

6th Eastcote (St Lawrence) Brownies

Where and When
The 6th Eastcote (St Lawrence) Brownies meet in the Church Hall on Thursday evenings (Hillingdon Term Time Only) from 6.30 pm until 8 pm. The pack is led by Jackie Smith (Brown Owl), 020 8868 9156.

A Thriving Pack
We are a thriving pack of 30 girls (the maximum we are able to take) and we have a long waiting list of girls waiting to join us. Many of the girls have previously attended Rainbows at St Lawrence and the majority go on to become Guides.

Variety of Activities
The girls enjoy taking part in a variety of activities including sports, crafts and games. We occasionally get together with other Brownie Packs within our District for Brownie Revels. This September we went on a day's outing to Cadbury World to see how chocolate is made.

It's All About Having Fun
Brownies is all about having fun and that's what we intend to do. We have had a scavenger hunt, a lot of games working towards badges too.

How to Join
Girls can become Brownies at the age of 7 years. They stay with us until the end of the term in which they have their tenth birthday, after which many go on to Guides at St Lawrence.

If you would like your daughter to join Brownies, it is a good idea to place her name onto the waiting list in good time. To add a name to the Brownie waiting list please ring Brown Owl, Jackie Smith, on 020 8868 9156.

We need details of your name, address, telephone number and child's date of birth.

Important Note
Even if your child is already attending Rainbows, you do still need to add her name to our waiting list as transfer to Brownies is not automatic.

Help!
We are always looking for new leaders and would be pleased to hear from anyone who might be interested in becoming a Brownie Guider. You need lots of enthusiam and a good sense of humour, but no formal qualifications.  You would receive full training and support.
