Altar Servers

If you interested in joining the team of people who serve at the altar, on a rota basis, at both Sunday and weekday services, Arthur would be pleased to hear from you.

Badminton Club

Come and play badminton on a Friday evening in the Church Hall from 8.30pm for a small weekly fee.

Bookstall and Lending Library

The Bookstall is towards the back of the Church, near the piano.  A range of cards and books are available for purchase.  In addition, there are some books that can be borrowed.

Daily Bible reading notes, 'Daylight', published by the Bible Reading Fellowship, can be ordered through Jane Coan, 020 8868 0435.

Call-In Centre

If you would like company, chat and a cup of tea, come and join us in the Committee Room in the Church Hall on Monday afternoons from 2.00pm to 3.30pm.  This group is run by volunteers from several local churches.

Choir

The Choir meets on Friday evenings at 7.30pm in the Church to practise.  It sings at the 10.00am Parish Eucharist every Sunday.  If you enjoy singing and can get to practices, James would be delighted to hear from you

Flower Guild

This is a group of volunteers who arrange the flowers in Church, on a rota basis.  Newcomers will be warmly welcomed!

Junior Choir

Junior members of the Choir meet on Tuesday evenings in the Choir Vestry from 6.30pm to 7.30pm to practise.  They sing on (approximately) alternate Sundays at the 10.00am Parish Eucharist.

St Lawrence Players

This drama group, founded in 1948, has members of mixed ages, from 15 years and upwards.

St Lawrence Players meet in the Church Hall every Thursday at 8.15 pm and usually stages three productions each year, in February, May and October.

Anyone, whatever their talent be it acting, directing, set building, backstage, properties, front of house or making the tea, is welcome to join.  There is a small annual acting membership fee (£5.50 in 2008).

Social Club

This group meets on the last Wednesday evening of each month, usually in the Church Hall.  Activities are very varied to cater for all tastes including, for example, speakers, quizzes, barbecues, boules, outings and walks. 
An annual subscription of is payable by regular members (£6.00 in 2008).  Visitors are always welcome for a small fee.
