Baptisms

In Baptism, God calls us out of darkness into his marvellous light.

The birth of a baby is a special event for the family and is celebrated in many different ways. Baptism is often an important part of these celebrations.

We believe that each person is unique and is loved by God.

At Baptism we are welcomed into the family of God and we set off on "the journey of a lifetime."  We are supported in this commitment by our fellow Christians, all of whom are at different stages of their own journey.

Although the majority of those baptised at St Lawrence's are babies, there is no upper age limit.  It is quite usual for toddlers, children, young people and adults to be baptised.

Baptisms take place on Sundays, within the 10.00am Parish Eucharist Service.

If you worship regularly at St Lawrence, or live in the parish of Eastcote, we shall be happy to discuss arrangements for Baptism.

If you are interested in being baptised at St Lawrence's, or having your child baptised please contact Fr John, or email the Parish Office.
