We greatly value young people at St Lawrence Church, Eastcote, and want them to feel a full part of our church family. All are welcome at our services.

For primary school aged children, our popular Young Church sessions run alongside our 10am services every Sunday in term time, except for weekends when we have our special Family celebration Messy Church, usually on Saturday evenings.

Sessions are planned by Young Church leaders and led by them with a great team of regular volunteers. We follow the same themes and teachings as in the adult service, using child centred Bible readings followed by themed craft / game activities to take home. Children are encouraged to explore and discuss ideas as a group in a supportive family style atmosphere.

Children begin the service in church with their family before moving to the Young Church session shortly afterwards. They return again to the main service after the session for Communion / a blessing with their family, and will often excitedly share what they have done with the congregation!​​
